I am a fully qualified (BSc, MSc, PGCE and MRSC) GCSE Science (Biology, Chemistry and Physics) and A-level Chemistry Teacher. As an experienced teacher, I have a proven track record of delivering outstanding results in school and in private tutoring. For example, my GCSE triple science group achieved 91% A*-A grades (9 A*, 12 A, 2B students) which was highlighted in a recent school Ofsted report. My tutees have also secured outstanding results this year (2019) and evidence of this is available. I currently work as a Head of Chemistry and Science Teacher at a good school in West London. I have been teaching full time for 6 years and achieved outstanding results with my clients during that time. Furthermore, the advantage of being a current full time Science Teacher is that it allows me to have access to a wide variety of resources and information on the new science curriculum. For example, I have full access to exam board exam builder which allows me access to all exam questions for any topics within science. This is a huge advantage as it also provides me with detailed examiner comments for specific questions. I regularly use this resource for tutoring to help improve the confidence of my students. My style of teaching involves the use of variety of tasks such as Power Points, simple diagrams, fill in the gap activity to keep students engaged. I then build up to answering real exam questions and as a current outstanding teacher, I am able to guide your child through these questions. As a full time teacher, my lessons have been judged outstanding by school leadership consistently which shows my dedication to teaching. Evidence of this can also be emailed to you upon request. It is also important to be aware of the fact that the science curriculum has recently changed which means it is now more important than ever to select a tutor that is aware of these developments to ensure the best chance of success for your child. I have been at the forefront of developing the new schemes of work for my school which gives me an excellent knowledge of the science curriculum in order to give your child the best possible chance. Finally, I recently set up a GCSE/A-level science channel to help students with science topics as well as showcasing interesting scientific experiments and projects. The channel has been growing steadily with 1200 subscribers and 75,000+ views in total. Qualifications: Biopharmaceuticals MSc (merit) Pharmaceutical Science BSc (1st class hons) PGCE Secondary Chemistry with QTS Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and current teacher. Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry (MRSC status) Online tuition is conducted using Scribblar (advanced online whiteboard) and Skype audio. Your child only needs access to headphones and a computer. I am very happy to show you a demonstration of this without any commitment. Rest assured, my online students have found this method very engaging. Another advantage is that it allows you to save the lesson as a PDF file so you can review it at a later date.
