Career History • Lisnagarvey High School – Lisburn, Northern Ireland 2007 – Present Senior Business Studies and ICT Teacher with managerial responsibilities • City and Guilds- London (Career break) 2015 - 2017 Functional Skills Assessment Co-ordinator Achievements: • Curriculum Manager (BTEC qualification) ensuring quality assurance through fulfilling regulatory qualification requirements. • Manager and Co-ordinator of SIMS (School Information Management System) with responsibility of data analysis and interrogation to develop action plans, as well as developing modules within the system and creating training manuals. • Head of Year at Key Stage 4 with responsibility for managing 100+ pupils and key stakeholder objectives. • Head of the ICT Department (Acting) which involves budget planning, leading and managing members of the department. Departmental actions are implemented and closely adhered to whole school regulations and strategic planning. • Exams Officer with responsibility for administration and ensuring examination board procedures and regulations are upheld. • Functional Skills Assessment co-ordinator in City and Guilds London office which required organisation skills to work with consultants to produce assessments.
