Teaching Placement September 2024 to Present • Planned and taught lessons in Year 1, Year 5 and Year 6 classes. • Supported whole-class teaching, small-group interventions and one-to-one learning. • Assessed pupil progress and adapted lessons to meet individual needs. • Worked collaboratively with class teachers and support staff to promote positive outcomes for pupils. • Gained experience in classroom management, behaviour strategies and inclusive teaching. Tutoring February 2022 to Present I have been tutoring primary school children, for the last 4 years now which has helped me develop skills like: • Plan and deliver engaging one-to-one lessons tailored to each pupil’s individual learning needs. • Tutor primary-aged pupils in English, Mathematics and SATs preparation. • Adapt teaching strategies to suit different abilities and learning styles. • Monitor progress and provide regular feedback to parents. • Prepare resources and homework to reinforce learning. • Build pupils’ confidence, motivation and independent learning skills.
