Master Bharadwaj used to listen to his father’s Guru, Sangeetha Choodamani Sri.Tricy S Ganeshan (Nephew of Great Chembai Vaidyanatha Bhagavathar) during the latter’s visit to Vellinezhi and used to replicate various Kritis taught to his father, with much ease. It is his favourite time pass to recite various korvais of Mridangam, with his uncle (paternal) and Mridangam Vidwan Vellinezhi Sri Satheesh, and to set swaras to those. This interest helped him immensely to perform Ragam-Thanam-Pallavis in concerts in different talas, Sruthi Bhedhams etc and improved his laya sense and presentation, to a great extent. He has performed concerts especially in Madras Music Academy, and in many more Sabhas in Bangalore, Manglore, Mumbai, Chennai, Delhi and also in Kerala. He has created many Pallavi’s in rare thalas. Having performed his Arangetram, at the age of eleven, he has started performing in various Sabhas with leading and senior accompanists winning many accolades. Famous artists like N.C.Madhav, Edapally Ajith Kumar, Thiruvananthapuram Sampath Kumar, Selam Sreenivasan, Pallada Ravi, Palakkad Mahesh Kumar, Palakkad Harinarayanan, etc., accompanied his concerts. He has also done prestigious concerts in Foreign countries like Muscat and Dubai. Presently, doing concerts in India including wellknown music Sabhas.. Having adopted the basic skills of music from his father, Bharadwaj still continuing his higher studies, under the same, accomplishing the essence of music.
