About Tutor

I am a UCL graduate and currently a full-time tutor specialising in Maths (up to GCSE) and GCSE Psychology. I have a BSc in Financial Economics (with First Class Honours) and an MSc in Cognitive Science (with Distinction). My approach to tutoring is to prioritise confidence-building. By building confidence, students enjoy their subject more. As a result, they achieve better marks. One of my greatest strengths in tutoring is my ability to build a rapport with my students. My students look forward to their lessons and see them as a time where they can relax and aren't afraid to make mistakes. Every student is different and requires a slightly different approach, so I invest my time in creating tailored lesson plans to suit each student's individual learning style. Many of my students come to me because they are struggling at school. This not because of their capabilities, but because at one point they were left behind and have been unable to catch up since. My job is to provide clear and concise explanations of key concepts, allowing my students to get back on track to the level they should be working at. Concepts that once seemed so confusing and complicated are suddenly made to seem so simple.
