Friendly, Engaging, Approachable, flexible, Adaptable. I went travelling to South America after completing my studies. This was crucial to my development as a teacher. It enabled me to become more open minded, appreciate different cultures and exposed me to people from different backgrounds. I believe that as a result of these experiences it will enable me to have a greater empathy and understanding of the pupils and their parents individual needs. I also gained a greater interest in the environment. In particular I learnt more about environmental exploitation and changes. I feel this will be very beneficial when teaching Science, Geography and RE.
