My professional journey began as an Inclusion Worker at Bristol Hospital Education Service, where I supported students who had been out of mainstream education. This role involved engaging empathetically with students to understand their unique needs and helping them develop the skills required to reintegrate into mainstream or further education. I monitored students' welfare, assisted in teaching, took minutes of meetings, and organised diaries for students and staff. This experience underscored the importance of empathy, strong communication, and organisational skills in an educational setting. Since September 2021, I have been working as a Private TEFL/Academic Tutor at Greenhouse Learning in Bristol and as a self-employed tutor. In this role, I have planned and delivered structured content to prepare students for exams, created engaging activities to reinforce their knowledge, and taught subjects including History, Music, and English. I have successfully taught both face-to-face and online, adapting my teaching methods to suit different learning environments. Building rapport with students and liaising with their families has been a key aspect of my success, ensuring a supportive and collaborative learning atmosphere. From May 2022 to May 2023, I worked as a Secondary School Cover Supervisor through the Prospero Recruitment Agency in Bristol. Furthermore, as a Freelance Music Teacher at Bristol Beacon from September 2021 to April 2023, I taught music to a variety of age groups in school settings.
