About Tutor

Hello, my name is Jacob, and I am a maths teacher with 4 years of experience in the classroom at a UK secondary school. I have a strong mathematical background including a masters degree in maths. I adopt a patient teaching style with a focus on my students gaining understanding and building confidence. Every learner is different and I tailor my approach to specific areas where a person needs support. Outside of teaching and tutoring, I enjoy playing cricket and solving puzzles, this helps me to bring real world examples into my teaching and helps me bring creativity into my lessons.
