I have several years of experience supporting young people across secondary education, including tutoring GCSE Mathematics and Biology and A-Level Biology since 2022. I have taught and tutored students aged 11–18 in both Welsh and English, with experience delivering lessons, planning schemes of work, and supporting learners with a wide range of abilities and confidence levels. I have also taught all sciences at Key Stage 3 and specialised in Biology at Key Stage 4 and 5. Alongside tutoring, I worked as a Family Support Worker, providing one-to-one support for parents and young people, leading parenting programmes, and helping families engage more positively with education. This role strengthened my ability to build strong relationships, understand barriers to learning, and support students’ wellbeing as well as academic progress. I am currently completing a Master’s in Education, which keeps my practice informed by current research, curriculum developments, and effective teaching strategies. My experience across teaching, tutoring, and family support allows me to offer patient, structured, and confidence-building support tailored to each student.
