About Tutor

I am a qualified and experienced educator with over a decade of private tutoring and teaching experience across early years, secondary schools, and online learning. With a PGCE and QTS in Modern Foreign Languages and previous experience as a high school science teacher in China, I have taught Mandarin in UK secondary schools and supported learners in GCSE and A-Level Mandarin, GCSE Maths, and primary English and maths. I specialise in 11 Plus preparation, having successfully guided my own children and several others into grammar schools since 2015. My lessons are engaging, personalised, and student-centred, designed to build confidence and equip each learner with the skills they need to excel. Reliable, patient, and adaptable, I am committed to helping every student achieve strong progress and reach their goals.
